Black Milk

Satisfying the urge of a
newborn’s scream,
suckling in blissful ignorance
the frothy cream
of a mother’s hate;
black milk,
tarnishing the hearts and minds
of another generation,
with the endless cycles of
revenge and retaliation.
A stone’s throw away
beyond the peace-wall,
another tiny newborn
sleepily suckles it’s mother’s
delicious contamination;
black milk,
fatty with centuries of
irreconcilable separation.
